ADC & UPdate in May 2011 - we are looking forward to a creative spring in Frankfurt

In two months time, the German creative weekend (that is, the first weekend in May) will kick off with the ADC Festival and the UPdate 11 in Frankfurt.

The first wave of speakers for the ADC Festival taking place from the 4th to the 8th of May are confirmed, including Paola Antonelli, head curator for architecture and design at the New York Museum of Modern Art, Lapo Elkann, Fiat hier, entrepreneur and designer, photographer Daniel Stier (New York Times Magazine, GQ & Vogue), Gerhard Schöps, former top manager of McDonald’s and founder of gastro chain Holyfields and documentary film maker Marcus Vetter. Will star photographer Annie Leibovitz make her way to Frankfurt? We are keeping our fingers crossed on behalf of the ADC.

The preparations for UPdate 11 are also running on all four cylinders. Many freelance creative professionals have confirmed their attendance, the number of exhibitors is steadily increasing and a fantastic jury has been put together for the SCREENings award, more on GoSee soon.

Photographers will have the opportunity to take part in the portfolio viewing in the Presence Library. Photographers who are interested in having their portfolios viewed, as well as creative professionals and art buyers who wish to participate are more than welcome to send us an Email.
