High Heels Help! Save The Children is auctioning your favourite stilettos for a good cause

Christmas time is charity time! Not much longer ‘til the first advent and whoever is yet to undertake a charitable deed may consider making a donation to Save the Children.

You can donate those vintage heels you still haven’t got round to wearing and get your hands on some new designer stilettos in an auction at the same time. The last shoe will find its Cinderella by 4pm (UK time!)

Every year, over nine million children worldwide succumb to diseases, which could have been avoided. These include pneumonia, malaria, diarrhoea and measles. The Save the Children organisation calls out to the fashion industry and all others to donate their favourite party shoes, using their killer heels to keep the killer diseases at bay.

A slight drawback for all non-Brits: The shoes must be handed in to one of 125 charity shops in Great Britain. We at GoSee are die-hard positivists though, what a fabulous excuse to visit to pop over to the island! How about a little bit of pre-Christmas shopping on the side?
