Holger Wild : the Arctic and its inhabitants - an exhibtion project

Holger Wild’s new exhibition project portrays the Arctic and its inhabitants.

The life in what many might deem an uninhabitable natural environment, is presented in portraits of young fishermen, abstract ice landscapes, as well as the pragmatic and civil attempts the people make to settle down here permanently.

During postproduction, operator Heiko Friese placed particular importance on the Zwischentöne.

The powerfully subtle, partly large format works can be viewed until 2 February at Sezession Nordwest.
