The German Creative Weekend - Pictorion das Werk and Saatchi & Saatchi's Opening Party at Nu Soul
Creatives work hard and party harder. As this is a well-known fact, there was already a small crowd of mid/over thirty-year-olds dressed in black gathering at 10pm, outside the door of Frankfurt’s Nu Soul Club, which is practically located near the Zoo venue and directly inside the Saatchi & Saatchi headquarters.
And guess who had the great honour of being warned to be punctual next time by the incredibly lovable and dominant Saatchi art buyer, in front of a large audience at 22:15? On the other side, you won’t get much closer to Guido Heffels and Dirk Häusermann than in the juicy crowds outside the door.
Everyone who thought it was already crowded outside – were in for an even greater surprise once they made it inside. We can gladly list everyone who deejayed: Christiane Gillisen & Marc Wirbeleit (ADC), Torsten Hennings (Studio Funk) & Matthias Lührsen (Hastings Audio Network), Elke Klinkhammer & Olaf Czeschner (Neue Digitale), Benni Lommel (LommelLudwig) & Harald Wittig (Herrwittig), DJ Lumannski (Lukas Lindemann Rosinski), Lola Knoblach & Mathias Knöfler (PICTORION/Das Werk), Karl Bates (Saatchi & Saatchi) & Senad Grahovic (PICTORION/Das Werk), Christian Daul (Scholz & Volkmer), Folker Wrage (Publicis Zürich) & Peter Recker (Deutsche Post), Uli Reuter (E+P Commercials) & Dirk Finger Eisenmann (freier Kreativer), KaiserLudwig (Herren der Schöpfung).
And last but certainly not least, Steve Johnson and Joep Beving from Massive Soundsystem (MassiveMusic). Their set really got Nu Soul all worked up and got everyone ready for the major MassiveMusic No Party in Cannes. We can’t wait ‘til June!
