Yes, we Cannes ! meet GoSee on the beach, at the festival, at the pool, in the lounge, on the sea ....
Once again this year quite a few people are asking themselves: “Cannes I or Cannes I not?” Well we’re certainly already looking forward to it – after the creative weekend in Frankfurt – the next stop is the creative week on the Croisette.
We have collected various insider tips in advance at the UPdate. We have already confirmed our champagne Wednesday date on the beach with Claudi, as well as 1st Unit, the Telemaz girls, perhaps a little yacht excursion with Franzi … so many great sunny (fingers crossed) treats await.
Perhaps Rolfe will also climb on the banana boat again for our entertainment? No worries, we will spend our time being productive. Those that missed out should catch up on our Cannes 2009 special spots; PART I and PART II.
Here is a piece of advice to the young creative that doesn’t have an agency sending them out to Cannes: WerbeWeischer, Jost von Brandis and Getty Images have once again made two young creatives very happy at the national Young Lions shortlist. Mark Räke and Philip Wienberg c/o Jung von Matt/Neckar impressed the ten-member jury of the 2010 Print Newcomer Competition.
They can now take part in the Young Lions competition at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, where they will represent Germany.
Besides the Director of the Eurobest Festival Steve Latham, Alexander Schill (Serviceplan), Dörte Spengler-Ahrens (Jung von Matt), Judith Stephan (werben&verkaufen), Arno Lindemann (Lukas Lindemann Rosinski), Stefan Wübbe (Kolle Rebbe), Tom Hauser (Grabarz & Partner), Gordan Steyer (Poster Network), André Baxmann (Baxmann Kommunikation), Susanne Merbold (Getty Images) and Marcus Weischer (Jost von Brandis) decided, which team will represent Germany for Cannes Lions.
All of the work from the Young Lions shortlist can be viewed at www.youngcreatives.com/germany.
