Nike Stylists Own - 7 stylists present the spring collection 09
On the occasion of the creative-project “Nike Stylist's Own”, seven exclusive stylists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will present their own interpretations of the current NIKE sportswear spring collection 2009. Themed “Designed for sports, re-mastered for life”, the third incarnation of the project features – for the first time – Nike athletes from soccer, track and field and dance as models, who pose in front of the camera in a diversity of productions.
The focal point is Nike Sportswear classic: The “Track Jacket”, which was designed in the 70s by Nike for the US-American track and field team of Oregon State and stands today as the new collection's core element. The “Track Jacket” combines athletic legacy with a racy lifestyle.
Isabelle Kountoure (Fashion Editor Qvest) styled Decathlete André Niklaus (LG Nike Berlin), Dennis Blys (freelance Stylist) took care of Sprinter Kamghe Gaba's look (LG Eintracht Frankfurt), Alexandra Heckel (Fashion Editor LOOP) portrayed Midfielder Sami Khedira (VfB Stuttgart), Mimi Hocke styled Pole-Vaulter Lisa Ryzih (ABC Ludwigshafen), Mody Al Khufash c/o M4MOTION took care of the Dancer Romina da Costa Pinto's styling, Kira Stachowitsch styled Hotspur Rubin Okotie (Austria Vienna) and Laura Catrina Hotspur Eric Hassli (FC Zurich).
The series was presented on the occasion of a dinner in the Berlin based Rode Club, together with all the parties hereto and can be marvelled at in the Frankfurt NIKE store next.
