1st Unit : enjoy the night with SHAKE COCKTAILS, SCHWEIZ TOURISMUS, BMW 5 SERIES LI, VOLKSWAGEN POLO Attendants & TARGET

The new spot for SHAKE Cocktails from Ukraine, as realised by director Marc R. WILKINS and DOP Pascal WALDER is on air. It is not only the drink that is frozen in the commercial; the protagonists surrounding the mysterious beauty also could not escape the chill. The stop & go was produced with no less than six steady cams. The director’s comment on the elaborate cast: “We were looking for actors who were very skilled in freezing their movement and facial expressions, which was surprisingly difficult to find".

The spot that is featured here on GoSee is already the third one produced by director Michael Fueter and DOP Pascal WALDER c/o 1ST UNIT together with Condor Films for SCHWEIZ TOURISMUS. The first two films had been awarded bronze and silver respectively at the Swiss advertising film award, the Edi Awards. Reason enough for a third spot.

Director Juergen Bollmeyer and DOP Stefan AUSTMEYER c/o 1ST UNIT got particularly close to the camera for the BMW 5 SERIES LIE spot. The producers were ASAP, Shanghai, which happened to be the location for the shoot as well.

Stefan was also the DOP of choice for the TARGET spot, directed by Jan Gleie and VOLKSWAGEN POLO, directed by Alex Laubscher.

FYI, the music in the POLO spot happens to be the current single ‘Telephone’ by American band ‘The Black Angels’.
