1st Unit : the WELLA Master's Touch Spot by Ivo Wejgaard, plus his reel here on GoSee

GoSee presents the brand new WELLA Master's Touch spot. Model Heide Lindgren from New York posed for the camera, directed by Ivo Wejgaard, D.o.P Pascal Walder, both c/o GoSee member 1st Unit.

Heide, born in Boca Raton, Florida, is featured twice in this newsletter, also as the current face of 'GUESS by Marciano' 2010. She was discovered, very glamorously, in the audience of a Britney Spears concert.

The WELLA campaign comprises three films of which one has not been aired as yet. The ‘care’ spot is aired both internationally and in Germany, while the others are exclusive to Germany.

Ivo and Pascal both live in Zurich; a fully-fledged team, they have produced quite a few beauty-projects together. Neue Sentimental Film, Hamburg in collaboration with Select agency, Hamburg, carried out the production. The shot also took place in Hamburg.

In addition to this, Ivo had the great pleasure of working with the Indian star of Slumdog Millionaire, Freida Pinto for a French L'OREAL spot this year.

Ivo was born in Zurich, Switzerland, has travelled all over Europe and started working on short films. From 1991 to 1995, he worked as a Henry- and flame artist at a Swiss post-production company. He swiftly became one of Europe's best Henry artists and was offered plenty of jobs by post-production companies from London and Los Angeles.

Instead, Ivo preferred to work as a freelance director and fashion photographer from 1995 to 1998, when he founded Bizarre Film Production based in Switzerland, although he did not switch to production duties but stayed true to his directorial passion.

In 2002, Ivo returned to the market as a freelance director and has produced many ad films and music videos ever since, including collaborations with film productions in Los Angeles, Toronto, Prague, Singapore, Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria and Germany.

During that time, he developed his unique visual style with a focus on beauty and action. Some of his work has been credited with national and international awards. Apart from his projects as a director for advertising films, Ivo pens scripts for feature films too.
