Burberry Prorsum Autumn /Winter 2012 - Sherlock says hi, show and backstage video on GoSee

Burberry presented its 2012 Burberry Prorsum menswear collection in Milan. The audience included Amir Khan, British actors Harry Treadaway and Luke Treadaway, as well as musician Dan Gillespie Sells (The Feeling).

Other international guests included filmmaker Ali Mustafa, actress Giorgia Surina and her colleague Eros Galbiati and Turkish musician Murat Boz. The Burberry-Boys Seb Brice, Johnny George and Thomas Penfound walked the walk of fashion fame (amongst others).

The show was streamed on BURBERY.COM, but is also up available for your viewing pleasure on TWITTER, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, iTUNES, GOOGLE+ . . . all of them were utilised in order to familiarise the modern young man with the luxury goods from the house of Burberry.

This season, creative mastermind Christopher Bailey went for a very slim Sherlock Holmes look in dominant shades of grey (for the most part at least). The silhouettes are not for everybody and if you want to actually wear the coats featured in the collection with the necessary verve, you also have to be incredibly young. Along with the tweets, tweeds and cord, the colour popping chades that smuggled themselves into the show towards the end were a definite eye-catcher. The combination of jackets and waistcoats as a twin set proved very popular in the office.

When the show was finished, you could immediately purchase some of the collection’s pieces right there on Burberry.com, while the complete Burberry Prorsum A/W 2012 menswear collection won't be available until July 2012 in Burberry boutiques.
