Photographer and director Monica Menez presents the WILLEMS WONDERGLASSES eyewear collection Autumn/Winter 2011

Not only does the Stuttgart-based photographer love to take unusual photographs, but she recently also tried her hands at directing. Monica produced the fashion short film ‘Precious’ for the WILLEMS WONDERGLASSES autumn collection.

The clip has scored a whopping 1 million views and is also part of the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival in San Diego / CA on the 29th / 30th of July at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

She is in good company, as far as directors are concerned: Karl Lagerfeld, Bruce Weber, Johan Reneck, Marcus K. Jones, Zaiba Jabbar, George Manzanilla, Vernie Yeung, Jason Last, Gabriel Gettman, Hope Audikana, to name but a few.
