SAWARD, GRAF, KURLE, BAAS : 1st prize at the Young Director Award, Bronze Lion for VW and LOEWE Remote Control, Grand Prix Film Lion for PHILIPS

Another very nice encounter at the Croisette: Bernadette Graf. As an agent she had the thrilling experience of seeing several of her directors bag awards at Cannes. Thus Peter Matjasko (DoP) and Alexander Bach (Director) received the first prize at the Young Directors Award, in the “European Film school“ category. The judges also opted to distinguish the German Red Cross film with a special prize.

The Groebert&Groebert team were awarded for their “The Robbery” film, in the Young Directors Award’s “European Test Commercials” category. GoSee presents the winning film here.

Alex Feil and Michael Schreitel received a Bronze Lion for their VW Parking spot. Alex Feil was also awarded Bronze for his wonderful Remote Control spot for LOEWE.

Fredrik Bückar was presented with the Grand Prix Film Lions for his PHILIPS Carousel spot (Director: Adam Berg).

And Georg von Mitzlaff was short listed at the Young Directors Award, for his Giant Thirst clip.

The agency was founded by Esther Kurle (Berlin). Bernadette Graf joined last year and supervises the Munich branch. Since the beginning of this year, Nick and Pavlina Saward have been taking care of the agency’s interests in Prague. They run the agency as independent agents. The creatives are divided between them to ensure that they are given as much attention as possible. Dorine Baas is in charge of the New Business department.

Now for some more eye candy : the lovely Derek Henthorn captured the calmer moments in Cannes, before the advertising stampede and all those BBQs. The film and photo project is still a work in progress, but GoSee is more than happy to present the latest state of affairs.
