The artist on her own work : "I am drawn to abstract elements, ornament, and the interplay of patterns found both in harmonious formal settings and in everyday life around me. My desire is to integrate those patterns and other visual structures uniquely through my process. The work becomes about creating relationships between my selected vocabulary of elements while exploring redundancy and repeat. My work is process-oriented, beginning with loose concepts and developed through an ongoing dialogue between materials and intent. I am exploring how I perceive, and my goal is to create a visual place where these elements combine to form my singular, personal geometric abstraction."
