The DDC's Good Design # 11 competition : entries in the Photography, Graphics, Product, Marketing Communication categories ...

The Deutsche Designer Club is calling on creative talents once more. Good ideas form the basis of a sustainable economic success. The DDC is dedicated to treating these with respect and promoting them in a fair competition.

The high class ‘Gute Gestaltung 11’ (‘Good Design 11’) competition jury judges all entries in a neutral and fair way. Jury Executive Prof. em. Dr. h. c. Dieter Rams: “I am happy to take charge of the patronage in the hope that the presented results are in keeping with my ‘less but better’ theory”.

In 1981 Rahms was appointed Professor of Industry Design at the Academy of Fine Arts, Hamburg and was the President of the Board of Design in the 90s. He was made a consultant for Form design magazine in 2003 and Die Gestalten Verlag have just published his book, which accompanies his exhibition in Frankfurt.

Product (Household, Transport, Industry, Office, Light, Interior/Textiles, Medical Care, Consumer, Public Design)

Digital Media (Corporate Websites, Digital Advertising, Microsites, Shop/Portals, Social Media, Tools & Applications)

Marketing Communication (Product Advertising, Image Advertising, Cultural Marketing, Direct Marketing, Sales Promotion, Industry Marketing)

Space/Architecture (Buildings, Shop Design, Public Design, Trade Fairs, Management Systems, Exhibition/Spatial Events)

Business Communication (Corporate Design, Editorial, Corporate Reporting, Financial Communication/Annual Reports)

Graphic Fine Arts (Editions, Calendars, Posters, Stamps, Illustration, Logotypes/Image Brands, Type Design)

Future (Degree and Semester Work)

Each winner receives a prize trophy as well as five copies of the documentation and certificates. The student work is published free of charge in the DDC book. Go to www.ddc.de for more information on registration, which closes on 30 September.
