BrücknerFischer : futurist visions for a Parabolic project, Garzweiler open cast pit landscapes and panorama shots of the Maira-Stura mountain route

Thorsten ROTHER travelled to colossal radar units for a Parabolic project. He captured clone-like costumed models in a futurist atmosphere, set against dunes and concrete, as if they were caught in the act of carrying out important assignments.

This was followed by the Garzweiler opencast pit. The area is made up of two sections, and has been worked on with bucket wheel excavators since 2006. The impressive landscape shots, which Thorsten captured in ochre and grey tones, span various towns such as Erkelenz, Jüchen and Mönchengladbach. The scheduled deconstruction date varies between 2006 and 2045.

Dieter MAYR and his motorbike travelled the Maira-Stura road, a popular route in the Italian Alps, with an average height of 2,400 metres in the mountains. This resulted in a series of idyllic panoramic shots, as the route provided an ideal basis for images of mountain peaks and endless depths of landscape.
