Food Art Factory : 'MUSHROOMS – Delicacy from the forest' by mushroom expert Renate Zollner published by GU VERLAG

In April, Klaus-Maria EINWANGER set off to hunt down some rather shy forest dwellers for the 'MUSHROOMS – Delicacy from the forest' recipe anthology by the author and mushroom expert Renate Zollner, published by GU VERLAG.

A production that turned out to have quite a few challenges indeed – mushrooms are known to be quite reluctant to grow at this time of year. And those that do show themselves in broad daylight can only be sniffed out by an experienced nose.

Equipped with photography equipment, rubber boots and accompanied by an 'insider from the mushroom business', Klaus-Maria made his way through the woods.

Despite many mosquito bites and an occasional tap of the magic wand, the result is a series of wonderful forest motifs.

When it came to the food shoot in the studio, the stars arrived straight from the Vikutalien market in Munich, where the author and mushroom expert Renate Zollner provides both connoisseurs and professionals with the best mushrooms at her stall.

Using lovely props created by prop stylist Alexandra Holzer, some of which were made especially for this production and thanks to the professionalism of food stylists Monika Schuster, Anka Köhler and Sven Dittmann, the production ran smoothly.
