Karina Bednorz : anthropomorphic design for H.O.M.E. magazine, WAD magazine spread, PREMIERE CLASSE motifs, plus the MEXX Summer 2012 print campaign
Robert G. BARTHOLOT and stylist Harald Erath realised the attached shoot for H.O.M.E. magazine. “We were inspired by the products themselves', explains Robert “and the result is a anthropomorphising of design objects.”
They brought products by Meissen, Fritz Hansen and Hans Grohe to life.
Robert also created contemporary altar pictures for WAD magazine, inspired by medieval times and Southern German carnival nights. The project was realised with the support of Berlin labels such as Reality Studio, JULIAANDBEN, Isabell de Hillerin, . . .
A small anecdote on the side: the wooden box was especially created for the shoot and they actually schlepped all that straw into the studio.
Robert was both the photographer and art director for PREMIERE CLASSE and the upcoming Trade Show in Paris in March 2012.
He and the stylist Harald Erath emphasised the fetish character that is inevitably inherent to well working products.
And finally, Beatrice HEYDIRI photographed the MEXX 2012 print campaign in Cape Town.
Realised in-house by MEXX, the art buying was in the hands of Sabina Sanz and Eric GUKELBERGER c/o GoSee member NORTH SOUTH took care of the production. The campaign is on display throughout Europe.
