KME Studios : NAUTIC Collection by BAVARIA Boats, sporty summer collection by DYNAFIT, at Europe's largest surf film festival for AMSTEL Beer

“Some productions give the photographer the chance to end up in the most beautiful places on this earth. However, a nice day like that usually begins even before sunrise and finishes in the late evening at best. This happened during this year's shoot for the catalogue pictures for our new client BAVARI Bats and their NAUTIC COLLECTION”, explains Michael Müller.

Blessed by the ideal weather conditions and a clear sky sunrise at Lake Chiem, Bavaria the photographer started taking the first pictures at 5 in the morning. Mario Feil and Martin Erd from the 'film crew' accompanied Michael Müller and created a short making-of-clip. Photo-assistant Korbinian Seifert, make-up artist Timea Stadler and stylist Sabine Grund were also on the set

Both the product pictures as well as the action shoot for the summer catalogue of DYNAFIT were produced by KME in cooperation with the Pascher+Heinz agency. The images focus on the first ever summer collection to be launched by the winter specialist.

The numerous product photographs and outdoor action shots were both created by using the same visual and lighting techniques. Manuel Übler, photographer and expert in all things studio lighting, photographed the newest product range in the studio, before accompanying Michael Müller for the action shots in the Alpine Northchain at Innsbruck.

Despite the fact that it is usually not the way he works, Michael Müller used flash lighting for the pictures this time to create a more dramatic visual impact. Getting the required equipment up to a height of 2,256 meters required a lot of effort and improvisation.

Both photographers eventually managed to shoot all the photographs for 'Alpine Running' and 'Mountain Biking' over the course of two production days. Agency-CEO Reinhard Pascher took care of the direction via Macbook. Korbinian Seifert (Photo-assistant) and Barbara Leibl (Styling outdoor and in the studio) supported the production. The North of Spain and the city of San Sebastian has been the host of Europe's largest Surf film festival for three years now. The main sponsor of the event is the Spanish AMSTEL BEER brewery. Mario Entero, also a passionate water-athlete, filmed and photographed the action on location and on the Southern Coast of Biarritz, France.

The clip and the ad motifs are mostly about visualising the lifestyle and feel of both the surfers and athletes, who – after a busy day on the breach – enjoy a cold beer at the Amstel brewery.
