Koray Birand : LAUREL summer looks, MARIE CLAIRE in Morocco, HARVEY NICHOLS, HARPER'S BAZAAR, ELLE and ALL MAGAZINE

Koray photographed a Helmut Newton-style editorial for the April issue of MARIE CLAIRE. Kerri Lee Miller and Magda Szala posed for the camera; Hakan Ozturk was in charge of the lingerie looks. Ibrahim Zengin fixed the hair and Hamiyet Akpinar applied the make-up. The shoot took place at Hotel Ajia in Istanbul.

This was followed by a MARIE CLAIRE shoot in Morocco. The resulting summery spread in autumnal shades was realised for the ‘Dreams of Trespass – Tales of a Girlhood’ concept.

The team again comprised stylist Hakan and make-up artist Hamiyet, who also took care of the hairstyling. Goksun Cam was the brunette model of choice.

Koray shot the LAUREL Spring/Summer 2010 Collection in Aire de Bardenas, Spain. Model Cristina Tosio presents the outfits, styled by Veronique Tristam, in front of a backdrop of minimalist architecture. Oliver Szilagyi was in charge of the hair and make-up; STERNENFÄNGER headed the production. The agency was Brunner & Bekker with CD Reto Brunner.

HARVEY NICHOLS, London’s luxury department store with an international presence, commissioned Koray with the Spring/Summer 2010 look shoot in Istanbul. Melis Agazat carried out the styling, Ibrahim Zengin perfected the hair and Cigdem Yartasi applied the make-up. Kerri Lee Miller and Peter Andreysek posed for the camera.

Koray’s HARPER’S BAZAAR editorial for issue 03/10 is rather revealing. Model Kerri showed plenty of skin on the shoot with a team comprising Melis, Ibrahim and Cigdem.

The ‘invictus’ series was realised in Sait Halimpasa for ELLE. Melis styled Kerri, Ali Yilanci tamed her blonde tresses and Hamiyet Akpinar adorned her face with smoky eyes.

White lace and ruffles dominate the studio series for ALL MAGAZINE. Model Matilda Sundquist swung her locks and Bengisu Gurel carried out the styling. Gulum Erzincan applied the make-up and Ali Yilanci fixed the hair.
