Norbert Kniat : AUSTRIAN HAIR AWARD, BILLA portrait series, editorial for C-HEADS and WOMAN, plus free work

Hairstylist ALEXANDER Moser c/o MAKING OF won this year’s AUSTRIAN HAIR AWARD. Norbert KNIAT shot two of his creations in a glistening white ambience, on model Isi.

The picture series for Austrian client BILLA was realised over four shooting days between the meat counter, veg section and bakery. Over 100 portraits of the traditional store’s employees and managers were realised. Hair and make-up artist Birgit Fuchs was there to help everyone look his or her very best.

Norbert realised an editorial on the outskirts of Vienna for C-HEADS online magazine. Yoan Gonfond’s styling references tribes and the great outdoors; a true juxtaposition of ethno and folklore styles. The hair and make-up skills were provided by Sandra Maron.

This was followed by a shoot in Maribor, Slovenia, with alternative healer Matija Mernik and his wife Simona Zajc. They are currently becoming increasingly popular in Europe. For more information on his alternative healing work, go to his website.

The dynamic shoot with Oran Acobas, the Israeli coach of the CORDAO DE OURO troop provides some glimpses of the world of Capoeira arts.

Norbert photographed a Jimmy Choo for H&M collection special in collaboration with WOMAN magazine. The models were Lucia J. and Michael Gstoettner.
