René Staud : the presentation of the new JAEGER LECOULTRE chronograph with Aston Martin racing, JAEGER LECOULTRE yearbook and personal series of the Shanghai Expo

René Staud accompanied the presentation of the new AMVOX5 from JAEGER LECOULTRE at the French Le Castellet. The Swiss watch manufacturer chose the traditional Circuit Paul Ricard racing track as the location for their chronograph’s 'world première'.

The Le Mans Series on the former Formula 1 racing course offered a great opportunity to visualise the long-standing partnership between JAEGER LECOULTRE and Aston Martin Racing.

The René Staud Photography team accompanied the race with various cameras and captured both the action in the pit lane and pits as well as the Aston Martin LMP1 itself.

High quality pictures of the JAEGER LECOULTRE AMVOX 5 World Chronograph were also shot in the studio.

The result merges the dynamics of the racing sport and precision in construction, cool planning and passionate ideas brought to life – fusing the energy of a British racing car with the durability of Swiss clockwork.

In addition to this, the fourth edition of the JAEGER LECOULTRE yearbook was released towards the end of the year. René Staud contributed a photo series, which was produced at the Le Mans Series race with Aston Martin Racing.

The pictures were embedded in an exclusive layout and exciting texts, using words and images to capture the combination of the two brands that are so rich in tradition. The photographs feature scorching asphalt under the tires of the high-tech bolides, crackling excitement in the pit lane and the stoic precision of Swiss clockwork.

The JAEGER LECOULTRE yearbook is available online now for approx. 80 Euro.

Throughout last year, René Staud Photography realised a variety of photo productions for the Chinese market. China turned out to be an exceptionally good shooting location, with inspiring backdrops and impressive events such as the Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

Inspired by the diversity and velocity of the metropolis, René's team created a series of freelance works. The resulting pictures convey the impression of a tense and high-contrast atmosphere in China's largest trade centre.
