Markus PRITZI photographed Luca Gadjus as a model for the upcoming STRENESSE – Gabriele Strehle AW 2011/2012 campaign and translated the German label’s fashion designs into imagery.
The MEXX campaign was also continued. Markus Markus managed to recapture the visual language he had created for the previous campaign, in the new AW 2011/2012, whilst still making it look fresh.
He also worked for the recently launched FELD100 MAGAZINE. He teamed up with Isabelle Thiry to shoot a spread titled ‘26’. The ‘Big Business’ story was shot for GLAMOUR with Katharina Müller-Lutz.
Ronald DICK produced an editorial titled ‘night shift’ for the style issue of German edition GQ. The shoot features the latest eveningwear for men, but as modelled by a stunning lady!
Peter RIGAUD’s eye for portraits and personalities was called on to shoot material for the CENTRO BANK annual report.
Jim KRANTZ carried out a shoot for a Spanish hunting weapon manufacturer. The photos, which were commissioned by ARMAS GARBI, present the traditional, careful production methods of these high-end weapons, as well as on the hunt which Jim accompanied in the Scottish highlands.
Jean Francois CARLY has some exhibition news. During summer 2011 he documented a series of boys and girls, vulnerable and sensitive, in one of the most intimate places: on their own beds. The result is an exhibition titled: ‘Surrender After’, on show at Nuke Galerie, 11 rue Sainte Anastase, 75003 Paris from 29 September – 3 October.
GoSee has attached a collaboration between Shotview and illustrator and photographer Carlotta Santamaria, who studied at the Royal Academy of Antwerp. Shotview commissioned the artist from Barcelona with several gorgeous designs that were printed on strictly limited edition t-shirts.
Nico was also busy working on the upcoming September issues and produced an editorial for MADAME LE FIGARO with Coco Rocha, as well as spread for AIR FRANCE magazine.
June NAKAMOTO received two bookings from BOLERO. She collaborated with Esther Haase to pay homage to Woody Allen’s ‘Annie Hall’ and the 1970s. ‘Domina’ was produced with photographer Olivier Rose and presents fetish elements in a new aesthetic.
Shotview is pleased to welcome yet another new member. Renowned still life photographer Thomas DE MONACO has now joined their books. Two aspects of his work for Shotview are particularly unique: the lighting, which wraps itself around objects like a magical ghost, as well as the distracting and provocative arrangements in every single picture.
Movement and interaction are communicative aspects, which have been on Thomas’ mind for many years. Clients such as Vogue Russia, Amica Italia, Wallpaper, Schnittpunkt, Surface, Qvest, Rolex, IWC, Mercedes, Peugeot, Moët & Chandon, Lindt, HSBC, Frankfurt Airport and luxury brands such as Globus Schweiz are partiucualry fond is his work.
