Tim Thiel : Saint Jacobus Pilgrimage for ANDREAE-NORIS ZAHN AG

From East to West.Tim put on his hiking shoes and the Saint Jacobus Pilgrimage adventure, that would take him from France, via Santiago de Compostela in Northwestern Spain, to Cap Finisterre could commence.

On behalf of pharmacy whole trader  ANDREAE-NORIS ZAHN AG, unique images emerged from a mixture of nature, historical buildings and people shots on the way. The apostle Jakobus' famous grave in Santiago de Compostela became the middle age's third main destination of Christian pilgrimage, next to Jerusalem and Rome. Last year, over 100,000 pilgrims undertook the peregrination. 

In the year 813AD, the hermit Paio, guided by brightly glowing stars, found the grave of St. Jakobus, one of Jesus Christ's first disciples. According to the legend, he proselytized what is Northern Spain today. Santiago de Compostela was founded on the grave's location and the building of the cathedral began in 1077.
