Dominik Obertreis : adverts for MERCEDES BENZ Service-Award, CONRAD and VOLKSWAGEN, reports for KLAUSNER and SMS MEER

Photographer Dominik OBERTREIS and CD Andreas Stundebeek were commissioned by WOB agency to pay a visit to SMS Meer in Siegen, the market leader for industrial processing of steel, aluminium and NE-Metals. Dominik is passionate about coating the dark and loud machines in a certain glimmer and esnures the workers end up looking like larger-than-life heroes. Andreas and Dominik are a well-oiled and seasoned team and once again exemplified how a rough and raw work environment can be very aesthetic indeed.

Dominik has to date photographed many different styles of pictures for VOLKSWAGEN. We have attached the portraits that are used for staff recruitment adverts.

A short time later, he once again ended up in Wolfsburg to document the manifold professions working for VW. From kitchen staff to an engine driver, he managed to capture a broad overview and glance into the many layers of professions within the world of the car manufacturer. As usual, Dominik works with the 'real' employees on location and inspired them to move and act freely and without reservation in front of the camera.

Furthermore, Dominik took a trip to Tirol in Austria for KLAUSNER, one of the largest and most modern timber industry companies in Europe. He photographed in the wonderful premises of the headquarters. The briefing by the DerDulz agency included office scenes, conference scenes and employee portraits, all of which will be used on the Internet to further communicate the company profile and image.

MERCEDES-BENZ sent Dominik to no less than six different automotive factories, all of which have been awarded this year's Mercedes-Benz service award for professional service marketing. Dominik created a nationwide portrait of employees. He also managed to create a series of detailed pictures of the Mercedes-Benz workshops. The Shanghai Berlin agency with Heiner Baptist Rogge and Carsten Reinhardt supervised the production.

Additional ad motifs were created for CONRAD, as directed by Daniel Scheitacker and Marion Felgenhauer from Publicis Pro Erlangen. Roswitha Haslinger took care of the art buying.
