Food Art Factory : carrots, cabbage and root vegetables - culinary winter highlights, DR OETKER Dekor print campaign

Klaus-Maria EINWANGER created the pictures for a series published in October, which served as an answer to the cold winter days by Munich-based publishing house GREAFE UND UNZER.

The photographs capture the comfort food appeal of the 150 recipes by Tanja Dusy. Atmospheric and warm motifs in the lovely interior of a Ruhrpolding ski-cottage, as well as chilling cold and frosty pictures taken outdoors make us long for the delicacies from the wintry treasure chest of delights.

Potatoes, cabbage and root vegetables were photographed next to other culinary winter highlights and prepared and larded by food stylists Monika Schuster and Anka Köhler, sometimes with heaps of wonderful spices and sometimes in a more minimalist fashion.

Prop stylist Alexndra Holzer, was responsible for the countless props, the set design and many other little touches that ensured the entire production had a distinct air of nostalgia.

Klaus-Maria EINWANGER also photographed the décor print campaign for traditional German brand DR OETKER together with the BBDO Proximity GmbH agency.

All processes were meticulously planned and prepared to the last detail, the pre-planning of the styling and concept for the sets, already taken care of way before the production started – all this ensured the flawless and swift completion of the shoot over two days.

Food stylist Andreas Pöschel was on hand to make the muffin look its best and shaped the cookies to perfection. The food stylist ensured that even the smallest detail was perfect.
