Marc Trautmann : Unique. Different. The latest BMW X6 2012 images

Last autumn photographer Marc TRAUTMANN and his crew shot the new BMW X6 images in sunny Los Angeles for the Serviceplan agency.

They had to tape off whole stretches of road and crossings to be able to place all the Yellow Cars (read: cabs) around the BMW 'Hero Car'.

The car manufacturer is promoting the BMW X6 with the claim 'Unique.Different' with prices starting at 62,000 EUR for the basic model X6 xDrive30d with sport-Automatic drive, 8 gears and 6 cylinders in the Diesel edition.

The X6 is the first BMW, which not only comes with four-wheel xDrive but also with Dynamic Performance Control (DPC). The four-wheel xDrive distributes the driving force variably and stepless between the front and rear axis.

Dynamic Performance Control ensures that the driving torque is steplessly distributed between the left and the right back wheel. This increases the driving stability, something that is not only quite useful in cross-country driving, but also when taking curves on ordinary streets, making for particularly good handling.
