recom GmbH : welcome to Berlin, BERLIN FASHIONWEEK campaign with Julia Stegner, SLR McLaren Z199 and the MEY campaign

January 2009 saw Recom officially launch its headquarters in Berlin under the name of "RECOM BERLIN". They are located in the former gallery space on Linienstraße 144 in Berlin Mitte, and now provide a closer-to-home service range for their regular Berlin and surrounding area-based clients. Services offered include their usual high-end specialities such as recomPOST and recomCGI for agencies, direct clients and photographers.

The Berlin Fashion Week 2009 image campaign was visually improved by recom and has been plastered all over Berlin for the past few weeks, in up to 60m wide blow-ups, (images attached). The campaign stars top model Julia Stegner and the Mercedes-Benz CLS, as photographed by Michelangelo di Battista for the JvM/Neckar agency. recomPOST supervised the shoot on location and the motifs were post produced by Thomas Saalfrank and Nele Ebner.

Likewise, MERCEDES-BENZ selected recomCGI and photographer Markus Bolsinger to produce FULL-CGI studio motifs of the strictly limited edition Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Z199, which has just been internationally launched at the Detroit Motorshow. The CGI artist was Andreas Maurer and Thorsten Jasper Weese was in charge of the CGI direction and post production.

Following the first MEY motif with pregnant actress Esther Schweins, the image campaign, which was developed by JvM / Neckar, now continues with three further motifs, post produced by recomPOST (celeb chef Sarah Wiener and director Sönke Wortmann, photographed by GABO).The motifs were post produced by Thomas Saalfrank and Nele Ebner.
