Close up : molecular cuisine for EFFILEE mag, new shoes for RENO, editorials for MYSELF, PETRA, BRIGITTE, JOY, ...

Molecular dining is no joke. Juan Amador, one of the German kitchen's pioneers, has been awarded three Michelin stars for his cooking skills. It was three stars as well for make-up artist KARIM Amerchih for hair & make-up of a series in EFFILEE, the new magazine for food and lifestyle. The story was photographed by Oliver Spies. We have attached the photographs which can be admired in the new issue.

Karim also took over the make-up and hairstyling for the new RENO campaign, as photographed by Dirk MESSNER c/o KLEIN PHOTOGRAPHEN. The motifs were taken under the motto: “There are 1000 reasons to love her” and were produced by Scholz & Friends, Hamburg.

The topic for the March issue of MYSELF “Trend with Tamtam”, fitted in with Karim Amerchih’s style as well. He particularly liked the animal prints. The team fought over who would be allowed to take the heels home with them at the end of the shoot. The fashion, which was inspired by Africa, was photographed by Stefan Ziehen.

Karim did some solo work for designer Silke Wilhelm and the March issue of PETRA. The new super cuts ranged from twenties, trendy and fringed looks to the “bob” and with his skilful cuts, the styling almost took care of itself. PETRA Sulger complemented his work with perfectly applied make-up. Mia Holm took the photos.

Not a question of mind, but a question of the heart, is what SASCHA Kuschel, make-up artist from the close-up salon, proves in the current BRIGITTE. The make-up was applied by EVA Hennings.
