Contra Service Productions : in Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing for HSBC, in Dubai for TOYOTA, ad motifs for DHL and the worldwide SAP campaign

In February, the CONTRA team and photographer Chris Frazer Smith set out on a long journey. Following a stop in Turkey, they travelled to Asia, where they realized photographs in Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing. Art director Mark Norcutt c/o JWT London was also on set.

Photographer Ralph RICHTER c/o ROCKENFELLER & GÖBELS and his team also left Europe for a TOYOTA commission. Once the first motifs had been shot in Spain, the next stop was Dubai. The smooth operation was headed by experienced CONTRA producer and Dubai expert Gabi Poppelreuter. The art direction was carried out by Stuart Fuller. The agency was Saatchi & Saatchi Design.

Productions were also realized in Germany: two new commercial motifs were shot in Berlin and Leipzig for DHL. Photographer Julien Dufort jetted over from New York specially to photograph DHL employees on an impressive set build. The ad’s concept was by Ogilvy & Mather, London. CONTRA once again took charge pf the entire production development.

In April the Contra team then took care of the realization of the new international SAP ad campaign. Ten motifs in total were realized with photographer and GoSee member Tom NAGY, as well as the Ogilvy & Mather New York and Frankfurt agency’s teams (Arbuying: Karen Rossiter, Art Direction: Mark Davis and Christian Leithner). The team spent four weeks travelling through Germany, Barcelona, Singapore and Amsterdam.
