Cool Banana : VANITY FAIR cover with Italian cinema star Raoul Bova, ADIDAS in-store campaign, KEEP WILD fashion in the wild and DOVE campaign
The production company kicked off the Cape Town summer season with exciting productions for international clients. For example, top photographer Chris Craymer, who flew in from New York and usually entertains no less than Katy Perry, Liv Tyler or Mena Suvari in front of his camera. This time, he photographed the new DOVE campaign with the creative minds of Ogilvy & Mather New York and London.
The styling was carried out by British lady Karena Callen, hairstyling by Craig Taylor and make-up by Nataline Renaud. The results will follow after their release.
Catherine Garcia flew in from London to produce the global Spring/Summer 2011 in store campaign for ADIDAS. The team was completed by stylist Nicky van Eck and make-up artist Melissa an Zyl. The locations included various athletic grounds in and around Cape Town, such as a basketball court, a fitness studio and a soccer pitch on a house's roof.
The Italian menswear fashion house KEEP WILD produced its new campaign in collaboration with photographer Leonardo Bigagli. The shoot took place in the luxurious private game reserve near Cape Town and features elephants too! Once again, Nicky van Eck was part of the team. This time, Johanni Nel was responsible for grooming. Keep an eye out for the new KEEP WILD website which is set to launch soon.
VANITY FAIR Italia brought along Nino Munoz from New York, who had already photographed Gisele Bündchen for Vogue. He photographed the cover of the new year's first issue: featuring Italian cinema star Raoul Bova. The actor is currently shooting a film in South Africa. He played in Aliens vs. Predator in 2004 as well as the recent film 'The Tourist'.
The crew flew in from fashiontropolis Milan and consisted of stylist Ildo Damiano, Vanity's CD Brian Anstey and celebrity journalist Sara Faillaci.
