Optix : futurist looks for QVEST, MTV Award Styles, TEASER mag, MEN'S HEALTH and free series à la Hitchcock
Stylist MODY Al Khufash joined forces with photographer Frauke Fischer to realise ‘Slave Me’ a futurist fashion editorial for QVEST magazine.
MODY was involved in the MTV European Music Awards 2009 Main VIP After Show Party: he came up with the exclusive styling for 14 models, using international collection pieces. His details bring to mind Bade Runner; the blurred look provides the images with a touch of movement.
Hair was most certainly the focus of the ‘Jewelhairy’ beauty series for TEASER magazine. Hair and make-up artist CAROLINE Wuest combined chunky jewellery pieces with hairdos in an array of colours. Photographer Matthias WOLF c/o PAM MIRJAM BÖHM captured the close-ups that were set against an emerald green backdrop.
THUY Diep realised a fashion editorial for MEN’S HEALTH and took care of the three lads’ grooming. Gregor Hohenberg shot the images, which featured various poses from jumping to just plain looking cool, at his studio.
Stylist JESSICA Klimach and photographer Holger Friedrich were inspired by Hitchcok’s cinematic representation of women in their fee series, titled ‘Marnie’. JESSICA styled the innocent, beautiful and thoughtful looking blonde in contemporary, yet classic fashion.
