40 Years of Roberto Cavalli - the anniversary book by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

40 Years of Roberto Cavalli – now if that isn’t worth making a book, we don’t know what is! Still, sadly we will have to hold our horses until January 2011. Here is some initial info:

Photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott take us on a visual journey across 200 pages, under the creative direction of Fabien Baron. Gisele Bündchen stars in the current Autumn/Winter 2010 campaign.

The fashion guru’s eye candy shop is brought closer to us by the most sought after faces and bodies in the industry – besides Gisele Bündchen, the book celebrates 40 of the worlds most beautiful models and actresses.

These include the eternal Cindy Crawford and all round talent Heidi Klum, as well as Sasha Pivovarova, Lara Stone, Carolyn Murphy, Erin Wasson, Angela Lindvall, Julia Stegner, Karolina Kurkova and Latina superstar Jennifer Lopez.

In addition to the latest collection, the book features fashion milestones by the master of animal print – mapping his path to the top. We can’t wait!
