Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2010 - private view on 12 May, needless to say in Frankfurt

The finalists of the ‘Deutsche Börse Photography Prize’ 2010 have been announced: Anna Fox (Great Britain), Zoe Leonard (USA), Sophie Ristelhueber (France) and Donovan Wylie (Great Britain).

The Frankfurt Art Association (Frankfurter Kunstverein) presents an exhibition of works by the artists, spanning various artistic approaches and methods.

The prize is an international award for contemporary photography. The Photographers’ Gallery in London awards it to a photo artist of any nationality, whom the international jury feel has made the most significant contribution to photography in the preceding year (exhibition or publication). The Deutsche Börse group has been the title sponsor of the prize since 2005.

The jury presented the £30,000 prize money to French artist Sophie Ristelhueber for her retrospective at Jeu de Paume, Paris (2009).
