Häagen-Dazs the premium ice cream brand have launched a new image campaign. The equally as yummy German actress and gastronome Cosma Shiva Hagen is the delicious brand’s latest testimonial.

The daughter of German punk icon Nina Hagen, Cosma promotes the ‘I Love Dazs’ claim and tempts passers by to indulge in some delectable ice cream.

From August onwards for four months, the campaign will be on display on posters all over Germany, as well as in print magazines. The Cookies & Cream (Mmmmm!), Macadamia Nut Brittle and Strawberry Cheesecake flavours, as well as the new Chocolate, Pralines & Caramel creation are featured in the ads.

We are looking forward to seeing more motifs with the enchanting Cosma Shiva Hagen. Matthias Dimke, Marketing & Sales Director at Häagen-Dazs, agrees: “We are ever so happy to have found a brand ambassador in Cosma Shiva Hagen, whose personality unites all the Häagen-Dazs brand values. Naturalness, sensuality and a strength of character are what defines the talented actress.”

Hamburg-based agency Töpfer Grenville & Crone created and produced the campaign. Hans STARCK c/o GROSSER PHOTOGRAPHERS was the photographer; Gisela Lübbe was in charge of the food styling. Hans Starck’s crew: stylist Linda Ehrl, make-up artist Yasmin Heinz, hairstylist Isabel Eiler and post producer Florian Schmucker.

A total of four campaign motifs were shot with Cosma, three of which we are allowed to present the fourth isn’t on air yet…

The 29-year-old actress is currently on set in Cologne filming the ‘Kommissar Stolberg’ drama TV series.

The latest F.A.Z. newspaper series by Scholz & Friends – also photographed by Hans STARCK – takes us away to a luscious summer lawn. People have gathered on the green outside the Bellevue Castle at Berlin’s Tiergarten, they are enjoying the sun and a barbeque. Former German presidency candidate Joachim Gauck is also there, in front of the official state building, kicking back and reading his favourite paper.

Mathias Rebmann, Felix Roy, Ksenia Slavcheva and Florian Schwalme were in charge of the creation. Several German tabloids are currently airing the photo’s secret – staff from the advertising agency was used as extras, including Creative Director Sebastian Turner.
