Italian Espresso Experience through Italian music - LAVAZZA's 2010 calendar is envisaged by colour loving Miles Aldridge

This autumn the lifestyle and fashion media were once again eagerly anticipating Italian coffee roasters Lavazza’s new calendar. And in keeping with our own tradition, this year marks another year of the GoSee presentation of the photos. Following Annie Leibovitz in 2009, Miles Aldridge is the latest in the line of renowned photographers and surprises – not entirely surprisingly – with a gloriously colourful series.

The Lavazza 2010 calendar features six top models; Bianca Balti, Lydia Hearst, Georgia Frost, Daisy Lowe, Alexandra Tomlinson and Alek Alexeyeva, each of whom makes a love declaration of Italian culture with an Italian song. The calendar images centre on classic Italian tunes, such as ‘O Sole Mio and Nessun Dorma. Miles found it particularly exciting that Lavazza should choose a non-Italian to communicate the essence of la Dolce Vita.
